Community Tasting Notes 1

December 16, 2013 - This is a GSM+++ blend, 40% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, 17% Syrah, 17% Counoise, 3% Carignane, 3% Roussanne. Sadly it tastes like a kitchen sink blend, too much going on without much focus. It was gamey, and at first thought we wondered if it was corked. But the gaminess dissipated a bit with air and mixed red fruit emerged. The fruit continued on the palate, but the mid palate was lacking. Long and somewhat grippy finish. Maybe this just needs more time to integrate.
