March 14, 2024 - Presents as fresh and really quite young – no tertiary characteristics here. Cedar, thyme, a hint of balsamic, sweet blackcurrant fruit. It doesn't come across as complex, but it does come across as harmonious, and I really would have preferred to wait another 10 years before opening this bottle, as I think the wine would have had more to say if I'd waited. That said – very nice!

January 3, 2023 - This wine continues to drink well with similar profile to my last tasting earlier this year:notes of dark cherry, raspberry, cedar with soft, well integrated tannins. Nice finish. Paired with game meat tacos.

June 30, 2022 - Still quite young. This wine easily has another ten years. No secondary notes yet but a lovely wine

March 14, 2022 - Spicy fruit, silky body, plenty of brightness, this was so good. Had exhilarating moments where it tasted a little like a classic Bordeaux from the 80’s, but in the end this was comfortably (old-school) California is style. In the zone and drinking great.

(Mount Eden Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon) Berry and cassis nose; tasty, tart cassis, and big cherry palate; medium-plus finish
