  April 13, 2017 - Decanted and poured, this is unfortunately the last bottle of this wonderful wine. This wine continues to drink well and has aged very well over the years. The bouquet and is detailed and focused with a combination of youthful and maturing elements. The color is a tarnished, translucent medium ruby. The medium bodied but firm palate shows both youthful and maturing notes with moderate tannin structure on the finish. if properly stored this wine should continue to drink well for at least the next few years. Purchased on release.

  December 20, 2011 - Decanted and poured, this wines continues to drink well. Tasted many times since release, this wine has aged gracefully and should continue to drink well for many years. This is at or around maturity, but shows no signs of decline. This wine is aging wonderfully, but lacks the complexity to give a more compelling showing.

  August 6, 2010 - This wine was decanted and poured. It showed well and exceeded expectations. It has been a few years since it was last tasted (this was a wonderful bottle of wine on release) and the wine has aged well. The bouquet shows red fruits, tar, mocha, spice and floral notes. It remains youthful on the bouquet and palate. The color is a light to medium youthful ruby. The medium bodied palate exhibits balance with a medium length finish that reveals the tannins and acidity.
