May 21, 2022 - From 75cl, purchased at cellar door in 2014 and not moved since, perfect cork. Off-dry-to-medium-sweet Riesling with very low acidity, muted aromatics (you can tell it's mature Riesling because of the petrol notes), an attractively watery-pure mid-palate and a dull finish which is gone by the time you start thinking about it. A real anti-bargain at 38 EUR/75cl; so glad this was my final bottle from this producer. Never again. 84-85P

June 23, 2019 - From 75cl, perfect cork. Nobody needs this insipid Spätlese masquerading as a „dry“ wine, lacking acidity, backbone and complexity. Clean but truly insipid: One sip is enough. Absurdly overpriced. Bought on holiday at cellar door - that says it all. 84-85P

December 6, 2018 - A solid nose followed by a fruit filled palate that lacked the necessary acidity to make this outstanding.

August 16, 2016 - Richer, softer than I expected, but still delicious flavors.

January 6, 2016 - I served this in my wine course. Faint lemon curd nose with a touch of peach. Rich mouth-feel, slightly honeyed. Finish has a sense of rich oiliness as well. Decent, but paled in comparison when tasted side by side with an F.X. Pichler Loibenberg Smaragd and a Peter Lauer Schonfels GG Fass 11.
