February 3, 2021 - While still very young, this wine is a stunner! Dark purple in color, almost opaque. Silky smooth mouthfeel with the signature Thackrey eucalyptus hedge. Ample fruit without being forward. Simply outstanding.

November 27, 2020 - Just an explosive nose and deep rich flavors. Decanted and consumed over two hours. Still holding the same on Day #2.

March 11, 2018 - Short note - dense colour, day 1 alot of oak, day 2 very herbal, thyme, rosemary, black and boysenberry, some oak, gunpowder, blueberry, very complex, high alcohol, body and intensity, big and bold, as James May said "it's a riot", but couldnt drink a bottle. Drink now (if you give it alot of air) and next 10 years at least. 91-92p outstanding and very special wine, a riot.

January 25, 2018 - This is young, but I wanted to see what the rest of the bottles are going to become. But it is still delicious. Has some menthol/eucalyptus at first open, that dissipated a good amount upon Vinturi/air. This should improve with age - quite a bit I assume, but surprisingly delicious now. I usually do not open this early. 6 or 7 more to age
