  August 13, 2016 - Pale ruby, legs are medium. Aromas of faint prune, distinctly sour cherry, vanilla and cinnamon. Flavors of sour cherry and hints of vanilla, cinnamon. Light/medium body, smooth texture. Finish and acidity are medium. This Nebbiolo is most definitely not a "big" Barolo. More subtle, approach/impression almost Pinot Noir-like. Balance and hint of complexity kept drawing me back. Very food-friendly; paired with salmon and beef dishes. At $12 paid in 2013, QPR is above average. It will be worth seeking out future vintages of this Neb. Drink now or in 2017.

  January 25, 2014 - A little medicinal, with citrus peel, strawberry and gamy. Lean, noticeable tannin.

  January 24, 2014 - Very light Nebbiolo. Flavors of strawberry with just enough cassis to keep it from disappearing. Better with trout and ghost cheese. Ok QPR.
