July 1, 2014 - NobleRottersSydney - Reds; no Shiraz or Cab (360 Bar & Dining, Sydney): {cork, 13.5%} (Greg) Young. Pure blackcurrant on the nose. The palate is dryer than many fizzy reds; this has serious dusty tannins, medium body and medium sized bubbles, all making quite a mouthful. But it does sit rather forward in the mouth, with the back of the tongue mostly neglected. Nicely flavoured, but rather short on the finish too. Just all right.
