November 19, 2021 - 25 Old Bordeaux grand cru classe - vertical (1920->) and horizontal semi blind wine tasting dinner (Copenhagen (Private)): A semi blind tasting of 25 right and left bank Grand cru Classé wines ranging from Mouton Rothschild to Chateau Cheval Blanc. 2/3 from 1920-1990 and the rest younger.

This wine: In perfect shape and not corked as 1982. Garnet color. Tertiarý notes including tobacco and lot's of green pepper. High tannin.

August 11, 2021 - Gorgeous, everything funky, green, cedary, campfire, and savory you want in old school bordeaux. The acidity resonates through all the smoky vegetation and makes a great food wine.

November 13, 2017 - Bottle in perfect condition, very well integrated, layered dark fruit with plenty of life still in it.

August 22, 2017 - Pnp at home. Not the best bottle, cork slightly sunk in, high to top shoulder fill. A surprisingly clean garnet color in the glass with no browning, forest floor, some remaining dark fruit, short to medium finish. Very nice

February 12, 2017 - Bottle not in the best condition, cork entirely soaked. Healthy medium garnet. Forest floor, dark and red fruit, leather and then this unpleasant slightly moldy note I run into so often when drinking red wines with soaked corks. Not TCA per se but am convinced the wet cork picks up undesired flavors from the cellar much easier. A pity. No rush in drinking bottles in good condition - this has good stuffing for several more yours. 90 for correct bottle
