Deep garnet core. On the nose, raspberry, red and blackberry intermix with smoke, earth and balsamic.
Soft yet rustic entry, intensity slowly build up along with lively acidity. Exhibits dusty earth, raspberry, blueberry, along with liqueur and spice. Medium+ finish with soft chewy tannins.
Aged well and 15% alc well contained. -

October 12, 2020 - Bountiful fruit, blackberry, cherry, with a little pepper and spice, does have a jammy almost syrupy texture like licorice but the tannins kick in to give it a full though not complex follow through.
