December 17, 2023 - Garner with a hint of cloudy crimson at the center. Intense red berries with a hint of coffee on the outside, a really delicious nose. Cocoa and intense dancing red berry notes with a long dark chocolate and pomegranate finish. Really good stuff, if a bit overly powerful and alcoholic per the new California norms.

November 19, 2023 - 1-hour decant; striking ruby color; rather simple cassis and light sous bois aromas; outstanding pitched cherry mid-palate with a less-than-interesting finish that mirrors the nose; modest secondary notes. The elevated acidity and balance was interesting and atypical for Napa; lithe tannic backbone provides plenty of time to enjoy this wine.
