October 15, 2022 - A broad and very dark garnet core, fading to ruby and a shade of russet at the edge. The ripe, gently oaky, and importantly, intact nose spells the region immediately upon the bottle being opened. And it is confirmed by the palate, which is concentrated with mellow and savoury, sour cherry flavours. Not complex, to be sure, but this is fresh and in excellent shape, considering its calibre. No fade for the duration and very good plus. Should live a quarter of a century.

Beaucoup de fruits encore, cuir, mousse des bois, les feuilles mortes s'en viennent tranquillement.
Les tanins encore perceptible, bonne concentration.
Groupe de seize personnes: crowd pleaser! Lol

November 19, 2019 - Just a fantastic wine that has aged gracefully and provides an explosion of taste. Fruit still present, though giving way to the tobacco, leather and cigar box flavors that I so love in a well aged wine.
