January 8, 2020 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #145; Italy, Barbaresco (By CvR): In the glass a slightly brown edge. In the bouquet some green bell pepper impressions. On the palate a juicy wine with good acidity, chocolate, earth, autumn, truffle, tobacco and black olives. A beautiful wine with a good length. 92+

September 17, 2019 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #041: Barbaresco (By MW): Pleasant and earthy bouquet with autumn impressions and some perfume. On the palate juicy red and dark berries, mocha, herbs, good acidity and sticky tannin. Will probably improve over the next 5+ years. 90+

January 2, 2019 - Herbal notes, cola, meaty, dark fruits, mint/eucalyptus element. Grippy sweet tannins, great ripe fruit on the palate. Long dark fruit finish. Delicious. A few years in the bottle since I last had this definitely improved this wine. Has a long life ahead of it.

March 4, 2018 - Poco valutabile. Portato ad amici in un invito a pranzo, e bevuto in bicchieri da acqua su un brasato pessimo è una polenta ancor peggiore. Peccato.
