Community Tasting Notes 11

November 5, 2015 - Lots of black cherry and sweet raspberry, some spice but in general not my style of wine. Big fruit bomb lacking precision.

March 6, 2015 - Just horrible. I am so glad I stopped buying KWC Pinots. They should state "Pinots for people who don't like the taste of Pinot". Big, flabby, god, this stuff just never tastes like Oregon Pinot Noir. Generally tastes like "the big wine" that is cheap by the glass at your local wine bar.

August 15, 2014 - Thin, watery at the glass. Opened nicely after an hour. No fruit, but surprisingly lush and smooth finish. Looked unpromising, but looks were deceiving. Certainly not worth its price tag, but good nonetheless.

March 14, 2014 - Un impressive. Particularly given the price. Stopped buying KWC years ago - this is a perfect example why.

December 21, 2011 - (1.5 litre) This is my favourite of the Ken Wright Vineyards thought I can;t really say why. This bottle was in a rather subdued place. Not young and fruity but not showing any development yet. A lovely New World Pinot that's taking a little nap. I left a portion on the counter for 24 hours and the wine showed more acid and spice. Much more enjoyable.
