January 6, 2020 - Smells like a young chenin oddly enough, but the palate is vaguely tropical with flavors of unripe pineapple. At first the acidity seems lacking but after some air it comes back into the picture. Interesting but not great.

February 3, 2019 - Paired with crab cocktail for Super Bowl happy hour. Beautiful gold color, it has become darker as it has aged. Pronounced saline/sherry note on the palate but it was not overwhelming like the last bottle. The tropical and passion fruit notes emerged nicely and balanced out the salty streaks. Very unique wine - but drink now. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

September 1, 2018 - Tasted double blind. Brief note. Pours a medium straw in the glass. Nose and palate show golden apple, sweet yet crisp meyer lemon, orange blossom and a touch of vanillin oak all layered over a decidedly saline mineral inflection. Medium (+) bodied midpalate shows racy acidity that focuses the citrus and orchard fruit nicely. Medium finish with good complexity brings back that beautiful saline note again as it layers itself in waves in between all the other notes. Guessed 2015 Chablis 1er cru.

August 12, 2018 - Got a nagging saline/saltiness streak in this bottle, like sherry, that seemed out-of-pattern with prior bottles and overwhelmed the creamy fruit I was looking forward to. Was also slightly browner than prior bottles. Oxidized. Bummer.

July 25, 2018 - Surprising fruitiness here along with the more classic notes of honey, minerals, citrus ... fine balance, very fulfilling. Still very young far from peaking.
