Community Tasting Notes 3

  • TannicBeast Likes this wine:

May 20, 2016 - Tasted blind. Clear, medium yellow in color. The nose is clean, medium in intensity, with tart green apple, lemon, ripe peach, aromatic white flowers, some dried herbs and a hint of chalk. The palate is off-dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium (-) alcohol (11%), a chalky minerality and a slight phenolic bitterness. Overall, this is a very good value and representative for German Riesling. It is still drinking well now and could probably last for a few more years.

    September 14, 2014 - Simple but good.

September 3, 2014 - A nice mix of lemon/lime, apple/pear, peach/nectarine. Good acidity with a light minerality. A well made, good introduction to German riesling and a good value for the price.
