November 14, 2019 - Fully mature and probably slightly past peak. Fading acidity as evidenced by the lack of freshness with stewed plums and cooked cherries. Still noticeable chewy tannin, which does support a grainy finish. Much better with food than without. Needs to be consumed.

November 10, 2019 - A reasonable wine that would not disappoint at a group gathering. Pretty well balanced.

July 21, 2019 - Very light bodied and so low in tannins. Not a particularly good representative of red mountain whose wines usually have much more body.

November 20, 2017 - Improved from three years ago. Minimal aroma. Flavors of boysenberry and tar with moderate finish.
