December 10, 2015 - This is an amazing wine, especially for the price ($12.99 @ Costco). It did not open up quite like we wanted the first night, although after some breathing and decanting it did improve. The second night we were ASTOUNDED by how it opened up. Very earthy, very strong black grape, clearly Italian - this would go great with Italian red sauce dishes. 91 rating is based on second night. Buy as much as you can get your hands on and let it age.
