  November 25, 2021 - Aroma: blackberries, strawberries, molasses, menthol, anise, tobacco, barbecue sauce, black pepper and dried figs.
  Palate: citrus and stone fruits, strawberries, muted mid-palate, soft to medium tannins with a medium length finish. I agree that it is a very one dimensional wine, which is usually the case with new world wines. Decanted to reduce sediment in glass although it makes no difference whether you drink right away or wait a few hours later. Paired very nicely with a Sous Vide Filet Mignon and baked potatoes. Drinking well now. 90

  June 20, 2021 - 3 hour decant. Inky red-purple. Ripe black cgerry nose with forest floor and leather notes. Full bodied and very smooth. Tannins well integrated, acidity well balanced. Fruit thankfully not over extracted, layers of cassis and blackberries dominate. Very nice, med long smokey finish. Truly outstanding.
