  Fresh acidity in the mouth, medium body, apples again, Chablis-like chalkiness, and that eucalyptus-mint flavor that is so unusual and tasty. There is a bit more evidence of age on the palate than the nose; some nuttiness and a cooked character to the apples, kind of like apple sauce, that is not unpleasant at all, but probably indicates this wine is better consumed sooner rather than later.
  
  In sum, body of Cote de Beaune, mineral profile of Chablis, nutty complexities of age, with an exotic herbal overlay. To my palate, this is at the perfect place and gives aged top White Burgundy a run for its money; wouldn’t hold it too much longer though.

  January 31, 2018 - This has developed nicely since last try back in 2015. The lemony notes have given way to more complex secondary nuances with more stone fruit impression and lime. Still fresh mineral impression with more sweetness with peaches. Round, rather rich mouth impression with refreshing acidity and mint which I always seem to find in Catena's White Stones and White Bones. Very long lingering finish. Not as great as I remember it though but still a high class wine.

  October 14, 2017 - A wow wine, elegant, refined yet totally delicious. The 2010 White Bones is rather brilliant and actually quite magnificent tonight. There is a totally clean and so solid first impression I am amazed. I have written it before, but if the fruit was allowed to speak up instead of a lot of premox, this is what Gradn Cru Chablis would be like with some age. There still is no better and easier way to describe this particular wine. It is massive and powerful, yet elegant and refined. Simply put: A masterpiece!   June 9, 2017 - As I have written before, this wine is a true gem and should not be missed. Very Chablis like, if I am allowed to say that, this effort takes the taster on a journey from the land of fruit, to acidity and elegance. It needs a good hour to open up in the glass, but then it reveals a totally mind boggling, well-balanced and integrated nose. There is a secondary layer of tangerine, lime zest, white flowers and of course the varietal typical colza. Adding tho this is a strong minerality and of course a lovely texture and structure. Elegance is certainly a keyword, but there is also a creaminess which is rather adorable. The palate is perfectly balanced and it provides even more evidence of how good this wine is. Integration is also in place in a lovely way. Just as during my last tastings this effort offers up an array of elegance combined with power and rather profound overall experience tonight. A lovely wine - without the slightest doubt!
