January 9, 2024 - Savoury with notes of cooked mushrooms, this was still fresh and minerally with flavours of dark berried fruits. There was a touch of astringency on a bitter chocolate and mocha finish, but still holding its own. CHP 90 pts

February 4, 2023 - Bottled in 2013. D+0h: medium deposit in the filter and in the bottle, smells of raspberry D+4h: purple red colour, smells of blackberry, smoke and eucalyptus, has a certain residual sugar, so not completely dry, smooth in the mouth, medium body, in the mouth blackberry, leather and acidity, in the aftertaste blackberry, leather and acidity, good length (30 sec), good red wine.

December 26, 2021 - D+0h: medium deposit in both the filter and the bottle, smells of raspberry and blackberry D+4h: purple colour, smells of blackberry, eucalyptus, raspberry and a little bit of smoke, medium body, smooth in the mouth, has a little bit of residual sugar, so is not completely dry, in the mouth blackberry and raspberry, in the aftertaste blackberry, a little bit of violets and also acidity, good length (30 sec), good red wine, but not really complex. I found the previous vintages better and more complex with the same degree of maturity.

September 4, 2021 - C: Garnet with still a bit of purple on the rim.
N: Fresh & vibrant with cherry and raspberry.
T: Very fresh spicy and tannic but supported with a delicious red fruit compote, developing a rich silky texture. The fruit is sweet and ripe but balanced with a dry savoury note, a hint of bitterness and minerals. The finish is more than respectable and altogether it’s rather delicious.
I: The whole package is immensely satisfying and now scores a more than respectable 91 points. This is a wine though that took a considerable time to mature and in fact the first few bottles from an outstanding vintage quite frankly disappointed. It has improved with every bottle since and I’m only sorry I opened the other bottles in the case of 6 at an earlier date. 91 points -

October 21, 2019 - Pas vilain même si simple et assez moderne.
Fruits confits, surtout de la prune et des épices.
Un peu de chauffe en finale.
