December 21, 2014 - Rustic, brambly, smoky, and earthy. Not a 'pretty' wine, but a wine of the earth, and a downright enjoyable one!

October 30, 2014 - enjoyable, and very fruit forward for Italy. juicy, good weight, density and length. acid levels are pretty high, so it really didn't pair well with my marinara. not the best value.
