August 10, 2016 - PnP...was just a hot mess! Came back to it after an hour. The wine opened up nicely.
Dark purple in color. Great nose of black fruit. Plum, cassis, and spice on the palate. Medium to full finish. Not very complex, but a well made wine.
I'm pretty pleased with the QPR of this wine. Can you really get any better for $10? This wine really needs to be decanted at least an hour to enjoy, otherwise it will be a hot mess. I'd even throw in a Mollydooker shake for good measure. 88 - 90 points. -
