September 16, 2018 - Blood-red colour, not too strong on the nose, smooth and very drinkable. Hints of vanilla and dark chocolate. Nicely balanced, probably peaking or close to it.

March 13, 2016 - Wonderful wine with Lamb chops. Had a nice tannic bite on the mid-palate.

March 1, 2016 - good effort by te mata in a poor vintage, but still not a great result. rather oaky wine, with muted floral and fruit aromas, and beetroot. the wine's texture and tannins will soften over the next year or two but i'm not sure the overall taste will improve at all.
