April 28, 2015 - Petrol, slate, slight smokiness; palate is quite dry with just a little residual sweetness, tingly acidity, slate, good fruit; lacks persistence on the finish. 88

March 21, 2015 - ultimately the acidity over powers the fruit. The taste like a trocken and I would prefer more balance in the sweetness level. nose is pretty if a bit faint.

December 23, 2014 - Delightful with crab. Would like to try a spat. with crab next time . Starting to enjoy Rieslings as my Christmas go-to wine form seafood to turkey.

August 19, 2014 - Fermented spontaneously and aged in stainless steel. Served blind.

Luminous pale lime green color. Very expressive and fragrant nose with green-toned aromas of aromatic herbs and even a bit of grass, fresh green apples, stony minerality, some apple core, a little bit of petrol, a hint of honey and a touch of something waxy. The wine is rather light-bodied, slightly sweet and tremendously focused with flavor department that might be best described as "intensively neutral": the taste is powerful, yet lacking any particular flavor, making it come across as somewhat neutral yet still very delicious. Among that neutrality one can find subtle notes of sweet red apples, steely minerality, aromatic herbs and hints of ripe citrus fruits. The wine is very acid driven, which makes it feel structured, slightly tingly and enormously balanced. The finish is long, crisp and refreshing with bright flavors of honey, aromatic herbs, red apples, some stony minerality and a hint of spicy character.

A lovely, slightly sweet and thoroughly balanced little everyday Riesling. Nothing super big or particularly memorable, but immensely pleasurable and really versatile - as a classic Mosel should be. Wonderful brightness and focus over here - although most likely not meant for the long haul, I can imagine this wine can develop nicely over short-to-medium term. Lovely.
