November 30, 2020 - This rich and woodsy Cabernet lacks the precision and depth you hope for with a wine of this price and age. It's tasty, but in a blowsy and oaky way that would be fine at $50 - but not as much when it retails for multiples of that number. I've enjoyed more recent vintages of Adamvs, but this was a disapointment.

Dark red in color and full in body, the wine offers cool aromas of graphite, raspberry, gun flint, and herbs de provence. Somewhat sloppy flavors of blueberry, gravel, nutmeg, and cedar (a lot of cedar: really, imagine wood chips, tree bark, and pine needles sitting in your glass). The finish is sweet and brief. Decant a few hours. 14.5% alcohol.

June 21, 2020 - Wine started with bitter aftertaste and then got sour with tinge of pepper after 2 hour decant.

September 22, 2015 - Dark ruby in color, with a spicy, dark chocolate and blackberry profile, ending with a piquant, dark cassis finish.

August 15, 2014 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle.
    It smells like plum.
The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

November 30, 2013 - Good ripe fruit, lots or licorice, vanilla, blackberries and jam also appear in its forward style. There is a touch of dryness to the tannins in the finish.
