April 15, 2019 - See previous note. I’d drink this soon, though.

January 21, 2019 - Initially somewhat reticent, then showing some dried cherry notes that had me worried this was somehow over the hill. However, with some air this really came together, with juicy dark fruit and great texture/body.

April 21, 2017 - 2010 is 60garn25carig15cab. Awesome fruity nose, great Grenache in here. Nose is playing with blue and red berries, with a mildly spicy potpourri. Mid palate is fruity and the acidity pairs perfect with softened tannins. Love the light oak integration here, and high acidity is very much my style. I really like this wine, perfect light oak spice on finish. 2010 drinking excellent now. Would rebuy and I rarely do. 92pts

April 22, 2016 - New oak a bit too prominent and not well integrated. Plum, other dark fruits on the palate; tannins firm on the finish. This needs some cellar time to hopefully improve. However, am wondering if there's some bottle variation, as I recently had this at a restaurant and enjoyed it much more.

January 25, 2014 - Purple colored, slow legs. In the nose cherry and alcohol. The palate finds sour cherry, elderberry, bitter almond, black olives, vanilla and toasted wood. The wine has a medium body, round texture and medium/short finish.
Already drinking quite nicely but the tannins are a bit harsh. We will see whether time will smoothen that out.
