November 23, 2023 - Absolutely overperforming at this price point. Typical Syrah bouquet with slight white pepper, some cherries and a little bourbon vanilla.
Drinks like a little granite and will easily stay at this level for another 5 years.

August 4, 2016 - initial brett/feral note fades to reveal a fresh and snappy wine; purple fruit, a touch of charcoal embers; drink this because it complements dinner, not because it's a complex wine

June 5, 2016 - I agree with many of the tasting notes here, especially that this is more Paris and a St Joe... nicely made wine, great fruit and mouthfeel, very easy to drink, would be fun to see where it goes in a few more years, but they will all be gone, as they are only there to keep my hands off the Granits

January 17, 2016 - Importer tasting: Ripe dark and red berries and some leather in the bouquet. Same impressions on the palate, a touch of sweetness and good acidity. Slightly sticky tannin. Pleasant wine already and around 2019 probably a bit better. 88+ for today.
