March 20, 2024 - Deep, layered, oodles of flavor.

March 1, 2024 - Garnet in color, with figs, caramel, raisins in the nose. The palate is dense yet not overbearing, with marinated strawberries, figs, black pepper, and a spicy, oaky ending. Very good Tawny Port, elegant yet bold, good by itself or with cheese. It feels quite well integrated, and my only gripe would be that there is a hint of alcohol coming out in the long ending.

January 26, 2024 - Pale tawny, clear at the rim. Raisin, oak, varnish, smoke, charred wood, cloves, nutmeg, dried cherries, fig, caramel, almond, milk chocolate, light roast coffee, dried grapes, dried orange peel, toffee, walnuts, preserved oranges. Sweet, full body, high alcohol, medium plus acidity and tannins, long finish.

November 15, 2023 - Wonderful nose with an assortment of dried fruit, fine spices and caramel. Lovely balance on the palate with softened sweetness, fresh acidity and resolved tannins. Endless, evolving finish with an incredibly long lasting hazelnut and raisin note. Delicious. As expected, no reason to wait. Drink now.

    WSET Notes:

    Medium brown.

Pronounced on the nose with raisin, prune, fig, dried black cherry, dates, burnt sugar, tobacco, caramel, cinammon, clove, hazelnut. Fully developed.

Pronounced and sweet on the palate. High acidity, full body, high alcohol, high tannins, long finish.

Drink now. Not suitable for further ageing.
