December 15, 2019 - Just perfect for this wine. A gentle nose with fruit still present and well balanced by the tannins.
Cork very dry, but did not affect the wine at all. Drank this with cheese and chocolate, but would also be perfect with pork, chicken, tuna with provencal sauce. -

November 21, 2018 - Stored in a fridge the past 5 years, bricking at rim, solid core below, led to a wonderfully mature Napa that was breathtaking to drink. Flowery nose, nice balance, dark fruit, and a nice finish. Would buy more if they were around. 11-12-18 over rack of lamb in Cincinnati.

June 6, 2017 - Unfortunately, this bottle showed signs of wine stain on the label and the cork was incredibly dry. Alas, it tasted to be quite acidic and slightly oxidized. HOWEVER, a 35 year old Beringer PR CAB is still a treasure to behold. Great floral aroma immediately upon opening and waited about 24 hours for the decant. Delicious and almost chewy, it was a great moment to celebrate.
