May 3, 2019 - Lots of walnut kernel to the nose. Lots of cracked kernel (kerosene) to the nose. Waxy fruit to the palate.

June 30, 2018 - At The Glades. During France vs Argentina WC match.
Appearance deep intensity, inky purplish ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of perfumed purple fruit, dark black plums, toasty oak, coconut, tarry earth, grilled herbs. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), fine structured high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of glossy black plums, blackberries, purple fruits, sweet licorice, sweet baking spices, coconut, grilled herbs. Long finish.
Very good quality Malbec. Full-on big fruity oaky New World example, though kudos to them for not going overboard. Overall still balanced.
From relatively young 10 year old vines located in Altamira in the Uco Valley. Spends 12 months in 28% new French oak.
Another 2-3 years to shed some more baby fat and oak to integrate hopefully.
