October 21, 2022 - Decanted for ~30-60 min, drank over about 1.5 hrs, served with cheese and charcuterie board. Agree with @scottpreston review - this is a fantastic wine and likely at its peak. Nice dark fruits with blackberry, cassis, some hints of oak and pine, eucalyptus, wintergreen, maybe a touch of olive tapenade at the very end, tannins are soft and fading, smooth, medium-long finish. I feel very lucky to enjoy such a lovely wine with some age at its peak! Drink up if you have any, you won't be disappointed.

February 20, 2022 - Outstanding wine in a difficult vintage. I believe this is at peak, but should stay here for 1-3 years. Fruit is all there (blackberry and blueberry) with zero waning. tannins are fading and the wine could turn flabby by mid-decade. But for now this is in a fantastic spot. drink up

July 4, 2019 - Outstanding wine from a tough year. Slightly bitter and decently powerful. A little drier with well-structured tannins.

June 22, 2018 - We are huge fans of Tomahawk, so by the standards of previous years this was a bit of a letdown. Considering the vintage they did the best they could, and it’s still plenty enjoyable, but hotter and greener than others we’ve had.
