Community Tasting Notes 1

January 26, 2006 - Huge barnyard smell on opening that lessened over the 90 minutes or so it took to drink the wine. Unbalanced on the palate: lots of acidity, little fruit or tannins. Some minerality and, later, bacon fat aroma showed themselves as the aerated. Overall, an interesting wine that was too unbalanced to recommend, but posessed some redeeming qualities.
