March 23, 2013 - Open 4 days: Good minerality still, tart, slight nutty aspect, medium plus body, but falls apart in the back end.

November 27, 2012 - sadly, this wine is not holding up nearly as well as the les folatieres or the combettes, but it's still a nice drink...there's a freshness that is still with the other two that is not present here. it's taking on more wieght, and becoming more honeyed. candied pineapple is there with only a hint of flintiness. this is the second of 12, and they will go faster than expected.

March 30, 2010 - Acrid and edgy, but how welcome that is nowadays, the oak nicely integrated, powerful and savoury, very bracing

March 20, 2010 - Three Blind Flights Dinner (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): Lighter greenish gold colour with some burnish of bronze. Nose is strongly of fresh lychees then smoke, pineapple, hazelnuts and more smokiness. Palate is lots of boxwood, soapy lemon, lemon balm leaves and fresh nettles. Fresh quite ripe banana emerges with more time in the glass and mingles with the nettles. Very Burgundy........ I guessed it was a Mersault 1er Cru from 2001 or 2002. Very fresh for its age and quite a surprise, although it flattened out with extended time in the glass.

March 20, 2010 - Pale yellow color. Nose : toasted brioche with butter, roasted hazelnuts, hints of citrus. In the mouth, the wine is rich, with high level of acidity, which makes it appear quite young (much younger than the reality). The precise definition of roasted hazelnut and buttery brioche aromas is underlined by the nice and elegant freshness and acidity, very typical of puligny. The finale is long and precise.
Wine was blind tasted, all the participants thought iw was close to 10 years younger. Another exemple of how well, well crafted white burgundy can age.
