Community Tasting Notes 5

  • cos65 Likes this wine:

May 21, 2020 - Slightly murky, fairly dark ruby garnet.
Light sweet, strawberry, bleuberry flavors and a hint of light tannins on the back end
This is actually lasting quite well.

August 25, 2016 - It was. Nothing exciting. Not worth it especially with so much better wines only a buck or two more.

June 10, 2014 - Nose of blackberry, dough and a little barnyard. On the palate, there's an initial wave of cranberry that transitions to petite strawberries on the midpalate. The finish feels thin, with the strawberry flavor trying to persist. Overall, a bit watery tasting as well.

May 22, 2014 - Bright fruity Cru Beaujolais. Better on the second day. I paid 17 but at 12 this may be quite a good buy.

February 5, 2014 - Better than average but a bit simple. Well-priced for the quality sub $15 usd.
