  May 3, 2020 - Very tight nose at first so gave it a good 2 hours to open up. Pleasant fruit with heavy tannins went well with steak, asparagus and bearnaise. But clearly a wine that was never intended to age very long and was past its peak. Would be interested in try another vintage for comparison.

  C'est bien, dans le genre des Merlots un peu cuits du nouveau monde, mais je l'aimais mieux plus léger et frais dans les années 90.

  January 22, 2018 - - Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of black pepper, raspberry and black currant. It's balanced and has flavours of black pepper, chocolate, black currant and blackberry with a medium/full body. Narrow texture with a long finish - Decanted two hours. Peppery dark fruit on the finish. Good tannins. Needs time to open. Might be able to short-mid age (3-5) more years.
