October 27, 2006 - A little better than the reviews I've read would suggest. Spicy, more tart than sweet, maybe the fruit was not quite ripe enough. I find it enjoyable anyway.

February 8, 2006 - Oh gosh, I love his marketing. But some of these wines are so damn blah! I forget what ring of wine hell it is, but this wine belongs to it. You know, where all those innocous wines fo no redeeming value, either positive or negative go. There is really nothing of interest to this wine, and it actually tastes a bit generic. I find the France version far superior. Worst of all, with the exception of the Big house series, Doon's wines prices have reached the point where more should be expected. What a disapointment.
