  November 22, 2018 - Wine with bubbles, very small bubbles. I love the late disgorged from J. It has this wonderful toasty yeasty flavor that is so much more complex than just being a sparkling wine.

  September 16, 2016 - Lazy Bear Restaurant SF (San Francisco): Paired with three starters: an egg foam and Sriracha shot; goat cheese and beet-marinated fig tartlet; and a geoduck and cucumber bite.
  
  Smooth and inviting, with not a harsh edge to be found. Nice notes of lemon citrus, pear, vanilla cream, yeast, and a hint of minerality. Nice mid-palate, with a medium-bodied attack. Finish was smooth and trailed-off nicely. Not biting or harsh in any way. Gained points for its silky texture and balanced bubbles (not a heavy wafting of CO2 that might otherwise distract from the flavors - thankfully).
  
  Not any sort of overly intellectual wine or anything with a standout personality necessarily, but a smooth ride and definite crowd pleaser. I personally liked it quite a bit, especially considering the food pairings.
  
  92 points as a stand-alone wine in my opinion; this was a great pairing for the food, and held up perfectly with all of the fresh flavors from the starters.

  November 26, 2015 - For the price point, I expected a little more. It's a very nice sparkling - refreshing yet round - but you can get Ruinart for less.
