January 11, 2024 - Pleasant, gentle wine, lots of cherry with a modest amount of tar and leather. Easy to drink.

November 5, 2023 - Prior bottle was 2 years and 2 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Nose was a bit deeper this time with both black and red cherry to go along with the earth, minerals, spices and light leather notes. Between medium and full bodied with a very similar fruit profile to my prior bottles: red and black cherry upfront, deeper black cherry and a touch of black raspberry through the middle with some plum behind. Balanced tannins, acidity, spices and tart cherry on the backside. But it continues to be the elegance and harmony through the middle and the integration on the backside that set this wine apart. Really in a good spot currently, but should be able to hold this level for several more years. This was my final bottle, so really pleased with this showing.

Opened up to reveal a wonderful bouquet. Cherry, tar, menthol, florals. Medium weighted and balanced, silty tannins, very good length. In a great zone right now.
