Community Tasting Notes 5

August 27, 2017 - The oak is overwhelming. Some red fruit and herbal notes trying to express but can't get past the oak.

August 26, 2017 - Tasted blind. Warm cedar, oaky nose. Dark palate with a strong winter wood presence. It has a significant helping of oak for sure, but the fruit underneath is tasty. Perhaps not yet at peak, but a likeable wine. Young Rioja?

June 17, 2016 - Lots of oak. Nose of franc. Ripe for '09.
