Community Tasting Notes 13

March 2, 2024 - Member’s Paulée at Planque Spring 2024 (Planque London UK): Great roasted dark red fruits, meaty with prunes and bacon. On the palate super well structured with grippy fine tannins throughout and a wonderful base of acidity. A roasted finish compliments great fruit. You’d never guess the age of this

December 13, 2021 - very good, needed 1.5-2 hours to really show

August 15, 2021 - Great drinking window. Fruit still there. Rose hips, licorice, cacao. Great evolution. Cornas are truly backwards wines, needing nearly 20 years to show the greatness they behold.

September 15, 2020 - Decanted for an hour prior to serving. I was a bit wary of this given the heat during the vintage and some bad luck other producer's bottles of stewed fruit. A nice surprise, this was drinking really well, dark fruited, with lots of herb, spice and savory flavors. Quite delicious and looking forward to the remaining bottle.

August 1, 2020 - Really good. Still a ton of fruit and a full spice box on the nose!
