    November 28, 2021 - 11/12, very good cork, decanted 1/2 hr.
Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is a touch mute at first bit does open up to reveal red fruit, florals, spice, touch of savoury bacon. Medium bodied, much more expressive than the nose with crisp red fruits, spice, savoury bacon, tannins are just a touch firm, especially on the finish but this is still drinking well.

    October 16, 2019 - 10/12, vg cork.
Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Quite developed, blackberry fruit - soil, mulchy but also becoming quite florally with time ion glass. Medium bodied, elegant, fine-boned, lightly tannic, showing just a touch of bacon, dark fruit, fresh acidity, medium-good length, lightly grippy, finish. Very good, hanging on in there.

    August 31, 2018 - 9/12. Good cork.
Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Developed nose, smoky bacon, spice, white pepper, notes of undergrowth. slightly fungal but at the same time floral. Not overly intense. Medium bodied, very spicy, underlying red fruit, vibrant acidity, savoury bacon, slightly spiky tannins on medium/good length finish. An attractive combination of decay and freshness but perhaps a touch on the lean side. Possibly time to drink up.

September 4, 2015 - Medium/deep ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Limpid. Nose shows blackcurrant, spice, black pepper, touches of smoke and blood. Medium bodied, blackberry, spice, touch of vanilla, elegant, some pleasing austerity, touch of bacon, good length finish, touch of white pepper. Excellent, probably peaking.

May 18, 2014 - Medium/deep ruby core, medium pale ruby rim. Nose is mainly red-fruited, cherry with a touch of cranberry, white pepper, floral notes. Palate is medium bodied, pure red fruits, white pepper, florals, light very fine tannin, fresh acids, savoury notes coming through on good length finish. Very good indeed, drinking well, no hurry.
