January 30, 2021 - A creature of the vintage, this bottle was less pleasure and more curiosity. Lots of acid, earth, herb, and a bit of fruit that all seem disjointed and thin. Perhaps my last bottle will show better.

August 31, 2019 - This bottle was more savoury and gutsy than the last, but equally enjoyable. Dark garnet colour. Fully developed nose - dried bramble, liquorice, black olive, bacon, savoury, thyme, smoke, earth, leather. Dry, fresh medium+ acidity, medium fine tannins, long finish, pronounced flavours. Outstanding mature Cote-roti. Not suitable for further ageing, drinking beautifully now, although you can continue to hold if you want.

May 18, 2019 - 100% syrah. Outstanding mature Côte-Rôtie. Medium garnet colour. Fully developed nose - dried cherry and cassis, liquorice, black olive, bacon, hint of herbs (thyme?). Fresh acidity, soft and fine tannins, long finish, possibly lacks a little mid palette. But delicious. Not suitable for further ageing - it should last another 2-3 years but why wait? Thank you Bernard!

November 10, 2017 - A blast of fresh, red fruited, floral, syrah - delicious
