May 23, 2019 - Beautiful wine, one of the most enjoyable for me so far in 2019.

Deep red, lightly opaque. A: sweet red raspberry and cherry, herbal undertones, some licorice. F: comes on with gorgeous fresh black raspberry that isn't sweet or heavy -- then herbs and exotic spice qualities, finishing long and bright with a citrus tone. Great length and depth with still present tannin, but immensely light on its feet at the same time. Might be my favorite Chateauneuf ever, and seems to have quite a long life ahead. No decline seen here.

November 27, 2014 - Cherries in front, earth and granite, tobacco and leather. Very nicely balanced, some tannin left, long and smooth. In its prime.
