October 1, 2018 - Virginia Wine Chat (Flight - Washington, DC): What a weird wine. I like it for its bizarreness but it isn’t exactly something I could drink a whole glass off. Smells funky, salty, oily, like an old, slightly oxidized Riesling. Chalky, floral, musky, tart, funky, lots of weird and divergent elements going on at once, but fascinating. Disgorged 2016.
