November 2, 2022 - Terrific wine. Classic fruit with some modern treatment. Ruby color with a rim that is showing a bit of orange. Full, sweet, red Grenache fruit mixed with freah herbs and a bit of eucalyptus. There is some oak as well. A lot going on. Make-up but applied judiciously. The palate is lovely. Full flavored but not at all heavy for a sourthern Rhone. Beautiful mouthfeel. Layered with a bit of oak tannin remaining on the finish. Fruit seems to be mature. I will try to drink remaining bottles over the next few years as this may turn bitter because of the oak as the fruit fades. At peak right now. (93)

February 11, 2019 - Weekly tasting group RWP #320; Three completely different, but pleasurable flights. (@ My place): Beautiful, deep and complex bouquet with red and dark berries, some garrigue and beautifully mature. On the palate juicy red berries, sweet spices, dark berries as well, beautiful acidity, leather, herbs and spices and tannin with a soft bite. Beautiful now and fully mature, but on the other hand no real hurry yet. Unfortunately this was my last bottle.

November 1, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #064: Southern Rhône (@ AR): What a coincidence; yesterday in my glass brought by someone else (In another tasting group). In todays tasting group I promised to bring this wine and I kept my promise. The (blind) tasting note was more or less the same. Dark fruits, some licorice, herbs and autumn. Same on the palate and also the same as yesterday. Very beautiful wine which still has a future of several years.

November 16, 2016 - Even ruby throughout. Spice and black raspberry. Medium weight, creamy red fruit, excellent acidity. Holding at the same very high level of several years ago when last tasted. Just delicious.

April 25, 2016 - Granato cupo.

November 5, 2015 - Lots of acidity and a bit tannic. Brownish rim. Hope the rest of the bottles are more lively.

August 5, 2015 - Bought this bottle recently and I hope it has been stored completely wrong, because it was organic and showing a lot of lovage. Anyway much too old. I have two more put away out of reach for the moment, but I surely hope they will perform better. No score for today.

July 13, 2015 - Deep ruby thoughout. Very expressive nose with all manner of fruit-fig, pomegranate, and raspberry with some spice notes as well. Dense and meaty without seeming heavy, perfect ripeness of fruit without heat. This is all leavened by higher toned blood orange, crisp acidity, and strong ground coffee notes. The depth, freshness of fruit, and balance are all pretty compelling.

May 30, 2015 - Beautiful showing after a 2 hour decant. Flowers and black liquorice on the nose. Complex, full bodied and long. Awesome!
