July 24, 2016 - Wow, wow, wow! What a crazy wine.
The wine is a deep red and almost seems cloudy. The nose is where things really begin to get interesting -- burning autumnal leaves and raspberry, mint, saccharine and barnyard. Completely beguiling; like watching a monkey ride a unicycle.
Tart red raspberries with a subtle smokiness; it tastes like a jigger of pink grapefruit juice was thrown in for a bit of complexity. Light and silky with tannins that are fairly well integrated and plenty of acid. The finish has a bit of smokiness that seems to linger.
12.5% abv. Drinking window...who the eff knows? I can't imagine this gaining much more complexity, so I'd say it's ready now.
Super geeky and cerebral, this is a completely WTF wine that will elicit strong reactions. I loved it.4 people found this helpful Comment -

July 8, 2015 - Meaty, light and very mineral. Silky and intense fruit with some flowers on top. Perfectly balanced and a complete pleasure to drink.

January 15, 2015 - Incredibly saline and brisk with amazingly open expression of berries and soil. Wonderfully well-made wine, super fresh and tangy and real.

June 17, 2014 - Smakstart på Sturköbaren: Sincere, captivating and highly drinkable. Reminiscent of a top-notch bojo. Fitzi's note is spot on, but we'd say quality is quite outstanding rather than very good.

April 4, 2014 - Vivid red, lean and somewhat sere out of the bottle, with muted aromatics. Medium to medium-light feel, though recorded at 13% abv. Flavors towards bright end of the red spectrum - strawberries, raspberries. Rather scrubby texture, with very fine-grained tannins moving over the palate. Gains in substance with air time; the sense of lightness without giving up red-wine pith and character is a good achievement. You could drink a bottle of this easily without really realizing it. Very good, but definitely in the geek aisle: genuine and interesting without flattery or pander.
