February 26, 2024 - Not certain if it's just in a down phase or it's heading into the twilight, but the fruit was muted and acidity is fleeting. And yet, this still came across as a stunning white wine; viscous and oily, with light notes of white peach and Canary melon leading the way. Nutty and smoky as well, with hints of white pepper weaving in and a skosh of minerality emerging. Seriously long finish.

May 26, 2023 - I know this wine supposes to go the distance but based on the evidence provided, I would consume it sooner rather than later as I ain’t so sure the acidity is where it needs to be.

Lovely lemon / lime with notes of flowers of sort on the bouquet, you are left in no doubt that this is a powerful wine. Body only confirms the obvious where notes of nectarine, apricots and pears dominate. Lovely finish with hints minerals and honey. Fine fruit definition.

    Enjoy now to 7+ years.

    Note : 18/20 i.e. 96/100

August 18, 2022 - Despite the fact it’s already 10 years old it still feels young, but nevertheless already a great wine. Deep golden in color, medium intensity with apricot, flint, roses, honeysuckle, honey, vanilla, a nice bitter note in the finish. Really deep flavors, the expectations for the next bottle (which I’ll keep for another 10 years) are even higher as I’m sure this will develop nicely over the next decade.
    Medium acidity, long finish

From 40-90 year old vines, 90% Marsanne, 10% Roussanne, 30 months in 100% new French oak

October 3, 2021 - Time has improved this wine even further. Pronounced nose, pronounced flavor intensity, long finish. High acidity. Everything in balance. It’s really hard to find any fault with this wine. Like I said in my last note from three years ago, one of the best wines I have ever had.
