June 2, 2017 - Definitely improving with age. Still needs several hours to breath before it reaches its potential.

November 1, 2016 - Rule the Rhone; 10/27/2016-11/3/2016 (Northern & Southern Rhone): The textbook example of Contemporary wine making in CdP. This had no oak and lower production vineyards. The fruit was very bright and prevalent and just shone through. The person doing our tasting said jammy and I'd agree in that it was fruity, but the fruit wasn't mashed but more clean feeling if that makes any sense. I enjoyed it. I'd wonder at how long the wine can last without any of the oak, but there is something really nice in just tasting the grapes.

June 9, 2016 - RIch, but not over done, lots of black fruit to it, shows Syrah's drive and energy but still with good mid palate fruit character.

December 9, 2015 - Full body, deep purple red color. Aromatic, ripe black and red fruits, earthy, spicy and peppery aroma. Black currants, dried plums, black olives, peppery and spicy on the palate, rising spices on long finish. Rich, concentrated and powerful, bold, complex and well balanced in spite high alcohol, gentle acidity, still tannic. Food friendly, best match is hard aged cheeses. Serve 20º - 24º. Open at least one hour in advance. Very enjoyable but drink next year, perhaps two and stay in well drinking conditions about five/seven years,.

October 21, 2015 - At Vin sur Vingt in Flatiron. Had previous vintages that were not as good as this.

Nose of red fruits, herbs and garrigue. Palate is dark cherry, banking spice, cinnamon. Medium mouthfeel and finish. Nice CdP overall, will likley improve in the bottle with some cellar time
