July 29, 2023 - Joy to come back to Gaisbohl, even more so to taste it from magnum, probably one of the reasons it is still in a pristine fresh state. Intense and ripe aroma of passionfruit, mango, pineapple, acacia, honey, apricot, peach. Medium body, concentrated and intense deep flavours, just not as sweet and lush as suggested by aroma. Still full of Burklin style, rich and round with full mouthfeel. Just a slight pleasant sweetness is cut by razor sharp pronounced high acidity, concludes with a long and refreshing finish.

November 28, 2013 - This is in a beautiful place right now. The color is very deep straw yellow. Aromas include pineapple and other tropical fruits along with apricot and peach. Lush and mouth filling with just a touch of residual sugar showing on the long finish.

May 7, 2010 - Nice mineral nose with cantaloupe and orange peel. Med body, based on the nose you would expect more sweetness on the palate but a very good acidity balances the wine. Oily and round, maybe a little more exotic on the palate with a nice lemony finish.
    Very nice wine.

    May 6, 2009 - Trocken AP 5 142 04351 03 Alc 13%

Golden color. Mineral, pear, wintergreen. Savory/sweet nose. Med+ body, high acid, slight RS apparent on finish. Tart palate with citrus and mineral, great transition to finish with some interesting caramel flavors emerging. Would love to try this in 10 years.
