May 23, 2019 - This is drinking beautifully. Really vibrant blue and black fruit, nicely balanced. Acid is still lively. Drank with roasted leg of lamb and it was a beautiful as one might hope. Glad I have another bottle!

November 24, 2015 - Very ripe and maturing black plum, black berry. Background anise, dark chocolate and black pepper. Still a bit firm on finish.

April 26, 2014 - Deep red. Earthy cherry, raspberry and pepper in the nose. Later the garrigues and smoked meat come into play. Delicious slightly sweet fruit flavours. A long peppery finish.

This is just rounding into shape, previous bottles seemed so much simpler and riper.

January 20, 2014 - Well, well, this has harmonized and may improve further over the next 2 years. Rich beef stew with black cherry and leather, plenty of heft without much tannin, nice acidity. A bit of alcoholic heat can be discerned at times but mostly not. With Poutine at Wayfare Tavern, yum. Decanted 1 hour.

May 31, 2013 - Pop and pour. Significant bricking. Can definitely taste the Syrah.
